My son told me there were tires at the mouth of Corbett Brook, so I paddled over to take a look. As usual, I found three before I even got there, so the tires are still there, at least a dozen or more in the vicinity. Oh the irony, that a brook with my name on it is plugged with tires. I might have been better off not looking.

But I enjoyed myself. I saw eagles and osprey dive for salmon, and enjoyed a picture-perfect summer's day. I used my hook to snag and haul in one tire ten feet from shore, it only took six or seven casts to snare the barb into the rim and pull it in.
